I had to work today for 8.5 hours. Around the third hour it started to snow. By the fifth hour, there was about an inch on the ground. Gahdamnit.
Oh man, it really sucked today. For more that half the time working, I was alone. First it was busy as all hell. The carts I stack did not last for more than 5 seconds (this is no joke). I had to listen to people bitch on how I wasn’t doing my job. I felt like smacking them and making them pick up their own carts. Ask any of the floor manager that were on duty while I work, and they will say that I practically kill myself working out there. I take few breaks (if any) and I don’t just hang around the front of the store. Next in the day was snow. Oh god, did it snow. I had to stack the carts so that the plow doesn’t screw them up. I did that for around 3~4 hours, I only stopped since my time was up. Hehe, I think I got someone fire. The second part of the day I was suppose to be helped by a guy (this is the alone part), but his behind didn’t help at all. When I left, I told the floor manager where he was. Well, here’s the dialog with Dennis (the floor manager):
Me: Hey, Dennis, do you know where [guy's name] is, since there is still carts out there and I’m about to go.
Dennis: He’s not out there?
Me: No.
Dennis: Are there still carts out there?
Me: Yea.
Dennis: When was the last time you check the backlot, earlier in the day?
Me: Yea.
Dennis: Alright, don’t worry about it, just go.
Me: Kay.
Dennis: Have a good night. Drive safe if you’re driving home.
*** I walk away to punch out
Dennis: He’s probably driving that lady home. I’m going to fucking fire his ass.
Well, that’s about it. I would say IRSBDWRN, but I’m too tired, there is no room for work. My mom made me walk home. I can’t explain the the thought I had when she started to complain that it was to slippery to drive. Luckily when I was walking home, a nice plow driver and his wife offered me a ride home. If the plow driver and wife are reading this (probably not), “THANK YOU!!!“.
fucking fire his ass. heh
