I got another SBus ethernet card off of eBay last week. Should be getting it by the end of the week. I plan to make the SS5 into a router. Will configure pf on it, just to learn. I mean the thing won’t be really doing anything.
Anyway, I’ll write up a post about installing OpenBSD 3.3 and configuring pf on it when I get the chance.

Umm, yeah, Forth. Don’t ask.
Had RUCS new consultant meeting on Sunday. Nothing big, but getting paid for it. Monday, was nothing. Tuesday was rainy nothing. Wenesday was nothing. Ehh, well, it was check out day in Experimentation, meaning I got to keep some labels, wax paper, filter paper, detergent, matches and googles. It was funny since I was one of the last ones to get to class and I was the second one to get done. Woohoo for knowing all your lab equipment and being quick about it. Yeah, so after ten minutes and being complimented on neatness of my equimpent, I was out of there. Saw some friends going to their doom^H^H^H^Hchem class, wandered around a bit (don’t really want to do too much of that on Livingston), then found myself on a B bus. I got off at the student center, and kinda walk as straight as the buildings would allow me. That means I ended up sitting in from of ARC for an hour. People saw me, I saw people. Nothing big. Got tired of Busch, so went to CAC. Went downtown with Jason and Kurt, and had McD’s. Blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I got matches.

Had another LAN party last night at a friend’s house. This time I actually played. Hehe, whoped everyone’s ass in C&C:Red Alert 2. It was quite a fun night, in one game, it was me and two other people playing as an alliance against a few computers. One of the guys played before, the other was a newbie to the game, so we had another guy help him. Boy the helper was being suck an asshole (Hi, Dhavel
). When the game was almost done, the helper just took over playing. The other guy and I really didn’t appreciate this, so we declared war on him. I beat his ass hard. We changed to Tiberium Sun for the next game. Gahdamn, a game lasted 2 hours and ran really slow. I was really tired of watching the three guys playing just beat around the bush. Had to end the game by pulling the cable out of the hub. Oh man, the night was fun!
Another thing, please configure your dsl/cable routers properly and change the password to something more secure than the default.

Let’s see. I was cleaning off the crap that was/is on my desk and I stumbled across a New Jersey State Driver’s License. Funny, I don’t have a driver’s license. Maybe I got one when I was sleeping. The picture doesn’t look like me, nor is my name Philip J Johnston. Don’t know who that is. It has an address in New Brunswick, should really mail it back to him.
Let’s see what else. I got a used Fast SCSI/NIC card for the ss5. Got that installed the other day. Fumbled around with setting up a DHCP server on it. Got that working, then set up my fbsd box to use dhcp. Hmm, seems like sendmail doesn’t like dhcp, sendmail hung when I booted. Oh well, back to static IPs for this box.

Felt like crap on Friday, got even crappier on Saturday (fsck in the morning isn’t the best way to start the day), and yet still crapier on Sunday. I really hated this weekend. I got really pissed on Saturday and got no work done on Sunday (was planning to get a lot done, but no, the relatives had to spread themselves out). Arghhh.
Oh yeah, will people stop complaining on how I use Unix and how I should use Windows instead. Another thing, quit it with the flash.

I have weird friends. Yesterday, some friends and I got take out from Brower and ate it on the 9th level of the College Ave. parking deck. Granting we had no fork or napkins and it was 8 o’clock at night, we didn’t care. In fact we enjoyed outselves greatly. Also did fun physics experiments with various Hostess’ cakes. Yep, g is still 9.8 m/s^2.
In other news, today was Sausage Party day on College Ave.. Free hot dogs after 5p. Besides that, they had crappy music and people busting their asses on bikes going over ramps.

Weekend has been pretty much boring. Went to see Anger Management on Friday with some friends. Wasn’t anything great. Ditched work on Saturday to “supervise” a LAN part in a dorm room (there were three computers). Oh man, 3 hours to get everything settled and 2 hours of playing. Got to love Windows(tm). After the ghetto LAN party, went to a friends birthday party. Party was alright. All I have to say is “Will people stop trying to get me to dance”.
Today I went to work 15 minutes early, so I could take my time. As soon as I got in the front door, I had people yelling at me to do thing. One of the floor manager was telling to do something (what, I don’t know). After hearing from him, I went to the back. Awaiting me was a full baler. So, as soon as I punched in, I had to make a bale. I don’t know what the hell they did to the machine, put it was a pain to strap the bale with the wire. I had to get some help from the guy in recieving to show me some “techniques” (what he called “cheating”). Did I mention the back was a mess, with all the cardboard waiting to be put in the baler. I really wonder how long that machine was sitting there waiting for me. The rest of my time was spent stacking carts. When I mean the rest, I mean the other 4.5 hours I was working. Didn’t even get a real break.

Had a chem exam yesterday. Think I failed (or at the very most, barely passed). I really think I should have gotten my friend to fold the professor into thirds and stuffed him in a trash can, then rolled him down a hill.

Just had a statics exam yesterday. Ugh, don’t ask about it. Before that, there was a Physics exam on Monday. Ugh, don’t ask about that either.
