I’ve been so sleepy as of late. I think I need to manage my time better. Like do work before it is do, so I don’t have to rush and get all stress about it. Yeah, time management and non-laziness.
Speaking of stress, I went to a stress management class (for CCF training). As a result, I got a painted pumpkin and a ballon full of salt (aka a stress ball). I think this was one of the better CCF training classes.

The answer is “Gillette”. Yes, yes it is. Ask people from FHS Academic League from 3 years ago about this. (It’s also a hint for later on)
It’s a Thurs^H^H^H^H^HFriday, and I got an ass load of work to do. And I haven’t even started. Gahdamn. I have to at least do that damned WebAssign(r). Ahh, scheeetz, friggin’ PEE lab too; I really hate how I have all these labs now. Think work is going to slowly take over… well, not all of my life.
Okay, I’m going to follow what The Daily Targum’s Horoscope for Cancer says for Thurs, 23 Oct 2003. I’m going to do it. The fortune cookies seem to be on my side to. I’m going to do it. Do now, explain later [maybe].
And no space trusses.

My mood goes up and down like the waveform of ((A’ * B)’ + D)’ * (B + C)’ (that’s boolean algebra)(anyone taking 14:332:233 DLD Lab should be familiar with that expression). Err, it’s really hard not getting pissed off at everything because nothing goes your way and your too chicken to change it. Maybe someday I can tell you what I’m talking about, but that time is not now. For now, let me do my DLD lab and continue filling printers with paper (I took coverage for a shift at lsm).

It’s a Saturday morning and I’m at work. WTF? And to top it off, I have work tonight (actually tomorrow morning) as well (yes, 02:00 is the morning). Where the hell am I working so early, you very well may ask? The basement of Hill Center, in the machine room. I got a job as a student operator (read: I watch servers). I just got “training” for it, which includes issuing me a slash card, enigma card and a key. The slash card is for access to the actually room (why do they call those access cards slash cards anyway?), the enigma card is a one-time password generating card for use with all of my regular Unix accounts (like 5 of them) (there are still some that use kerberos, but the enigma card take priority in the PAM settings in systems that have enigma capabilites) and the key is for the loading dock (there is a room by it which stores the UPS, and the generator is a few hundred feet away). So yeah, I have to go to work tonight/tomorrow and take backups. Ugh.

Went to surplus today. The guy had a 10 year old 19″ Sun monitor waiting for me. He especially saved it for me since he knew I was looking for one. Hearing this, I bought it for $5 (he throw in a DB15 to ADC (or whatever old Mac monitors use) adaptor, since I was asking about it). Err, the monitor has no cable. Bahh, I’ll have to eBay for one (and did). Damn cable cost more than the monitor. I’ll have to wait to test the thing out since I don’t have the cable or a machine to test it out (monitor is at school, machine is at home, cable is somewhere in Boston).

So I have an expensive paper weight (aka the Treo). I went searching around for an unlock code since there might have been a chance that the Treo was carrier-locked. On my search, I found a posting in message board saying that his Treo worked with Cingular after he upgraded to the GPRS patch/firmware/thing. I gave it a try. Low and behold (after downloading the damn thing and waiting for the Treo to flash it’s firmware), the Service Provider field contained the one word: Cingular. Yippy. I no longer have an expensive paperweight. As a sidenote: I think my phone is now carrier-locked to Cingular. Neh.
Oh yeah, nevermind the other post.

Got my treo today. All I have to say is gahdamnit. Friggin’ Cingular doesn’t have a GSM 1900 network in Piscataway (the Treo does GSM 900(World)/1900(North America)). Arrgh, I’m soooo pissed at thier damn 850 network.

Hmm, I should be studying for an exam now (Principles of Electrical Engneering), but I’m not. I’m so screwed, I don’t even know what the hell is the Node-Voltage Method or the Mesh-Current Method is. Errr, I always have tomorrow. Neh, I have this damn DLD (Digital Logic Design) pre-lab to do also for Thursday. Ugh, then the Maple lab and workshop for Multivariable Calc for Tuesday. Hmm, exam also next week (Tuesday). Make that two (and Monday). I’m starting to hate these people who make all this crap around the same date.
