Happy Christmas

It was Christmas. Now it isn’t. Well, it wasn’t like I noticed that it was Christmas considering that I spent most of the time in my room avoiding people. Wasn’t terribly exciting anyway. Then the joy of work came, not once but twice.

Ginger Ale

I had my last exam on Thurday. Friday was a day of B.S. followed by a night of Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King. Saturday was work, followed by work and more work. Sunday, I went home for a bit and went back to Silvers (Jason insisted that I did). We had a “party” and I had to work that evening. Came back to silvers Monday morning to clean up the place after the “party”. Went to surplus with Krut and J after J came back from his exam. J left for home, then Kurt. Ramon then found me in RSC and we talked for a few hours. I then went back to Silvers to tighten a few loose ends. When I went to lock the door as I was leaving, it finally came to me when I was looking to the inside of the dark apartment: The semester is over and the year is half done. Wow, that crap just flew by.

Another reason to hate PPT

As many of you know, I hate powerpoint. It’s not that it isn’t a nice program, it’s that whenever someone make a presentation, it always looks so dumb and kludged together. Oh yeah, it’s been proven to make you stupid (click the link, it’s the whole reason for the post).

SDLT

It was the second reading day and I’ve done jack shit. Well, helping people with their CAD work doesn’t count (I-DEAS is crap). I honestly don’t know how I’m going to pull off this miracle that will happen. I think I just need to work and it will come. Getting started is the tough part, I’m not sure if this is laziness or stubborness that is in control.

Well, I did have productive periods during the day when I was at work. Uhh, yeah, productive. Going to a place to sit around and getting paid for it is productive.

“Walking On Sunshine”

Classes ended today and I had none today (no lab and dropped PEE 1). Yeah, I dropped PEE 1 a few weeks ago. I knew I couldn’t get a decent grade in it, so went to the friendly Dean’s office and they dropped it with out even a mutter of a question. This was a few weeks ago and since then I have been worried if I can keep the normal track, since right now I am behind in PEE and a H/SS elective. Today I found out they are in fact offering PEE 1 next semester (they normally offer it only in Fall), so I feel slightly better now. I will probably do PEE 2 and the H/SS crap (to get that over with) over the summer. I really don’t know what H/SS elective I should take, which is really a bitch. I want to take history courses, but I have this feeling that they will be long and agonizing. Hmm, what should I take?

NAND Snow

It’s snowed fairly hard today. A foot and upwards is expected. Yay, snow!!! One good thing is that work for tomorrow morning is cancelled, which means more sleep so I can write up 3 lab reports. Hrmm, not so easy weekend after all.

Tree Phone

Hmm, I have to do that Maple lab. Think I will do that later.

It’s upsetting. My phone is broken. The ear piece make no more sound. You can make calls, but don’t expect to hear anything (well, you can expect all you want but you ain’t getting it). I need to call up for repair sometime soon.

Life has been okay as of recent. I just need to stop looking at crap in that bad way and forcibly think happy thoughts. This will continue.

I hate M$ mice

I hate Microsoft mice with the fiery passion of a thousand burning suns. They are the worst designed mice that I’ve ever felt. My hand alwasy hurts after using them, the wheel is too loose (can never middle click properly), and those stupid side buttons. Errr. I hate them and my hand hurts since I have to hold them funny since their sides slop up and the want to slip out of your hand.
