So I woke up today around 10:30. Hmm, seems like Franklin schools are off today. Hmm, what was I suppose to do today? Oh yeah, kill Windows.

I opened up my computer and swapped the master/slave settings on the two drives (Windows drive to slave, FreeBSD drive to master). I then fdisk’ed, put a disk label, and newfs’ed the “Windows” drive. Wow, newfs is fast. I then fiddled with tunefs, enabling soft-updates and acls. I then almost forgot to edit /etc/fstab. Here come the long part, moving data. I originally had my home in /usr, which was a pain since the disk was almost full. The new disk was to become my new home, so I had to move the data, which took around 3.5 hours. God damn, I hate tar. Rebooted and all was well. The part that I though would be long wasn’t and the part that I thought would be short wasn’t. All in all, it was what I expected.

Hmm, robotics meeting tomorrow. I also have to get books.
