Vacation that was never meant to be

So I have a vacation sheduled. It begins tomorrow and ends next Saturday. I really have too many things going on right now to take a vacation. This week can make or break my next two or three years. The thing is I will probably will not enjoy this “break” even if I didn’t have the stresses of the universe on me (family vacations are not what they used to be). Support is what I need (and a hugh calling plan).

People

I really never understand people. Why do they act in the manner in which they do? One thing I will never know.

Sidenote: There should be a examination to be allowed to use the Internet.

So this is how it is

So I’m sitting in my room, sucking up my neighbor’s WiFi (I’m not lying), figuring out what to do tomorrow. Well, let’s take little steps first, how about the time before I go to sleep (around 00:00). Hmm, for some reasons, this used to be easier before college. Now it’s like I’m begging for school work. Yuck. Really, I need to find something to do. What ever happend to the old Eric that was always able to find something to do?

Well, anyway, I started to clean my room. There is still a lot of work to be done. Today, I just rearraned the desks and bookshelf. I placed the old desk by the window and got rid of the hutch (the thing sticking out from the top). I think that will be my “work” table. You know, do the crap I usually do on the dining room table on that table instead. The new desk in still in the middle and the bookshelf in now by the closet. Besides ginger (the Ultra 10), which is partly setup (it needs a new monitor since I am throwing away the old magenta one), all the other computers in my room are stack on top of each other on the floor (well, nutmeg is over by the closet). I need to figure out where the hell I’m going to put these things. That reminds me, I need a new switch also (time for eBay).

Fire fears at Rutgers
Read the part on Hill Center. Not sure if it’s true, but I wasn’t aware of it.

Smith, I was not meant to run

Nothing spectacular for most of the day. Did help bring a week early birthday party together, which made me run carrying pizza from the Busch Campus Center to Silvers. It was enjoyable.

Purgatory, it’s smelly

There was a weird smell coming from the machine room. It seemed like it’s coming from eden-backend. Well, it was purgatory, the NIS slave right next to eden-backend. It had a fried power supply and their CPUs went bad. Wow, Sun had an engineer come by same day, along with replacment power supply and cpus shipped/recieved same day. That is service.

Do not disturb

Final are here and people always seem to think that you don’t have any finals so they can bother you about crap and start asking you about stuff. It’s annoying and I don’t understand how they can get upset when they are the ones bothering you.

For some reason I felt like playing Oregon Trail. I got the thing, unstuffed it, launched the thing. Ehhh, Classic is starting… Splash Screen… Oregon Trail. w00t!!! Oh god, no work is getting done.
