So that project that was due today for Programming Methodologies was extended two week since the teacher realized that most of the labs don’t have Visual C++. There was a paper assignment due today also that has been extended one week.
Just to think, I did all that programming last night for nothing. Meh, it was crap anyway.

If you read my previous post, then you know I have to do some programming for a class. Not really sure what I’m suppose to be doing nor what is required of me since the professor graduate student isn’t very clear on most things (if he is, then he’s not really firm when he tells us).
Besides the “no clue” factor, he is insisting that we do all our programming in Windows, specifically Visual C++. He has gone so far as to tell us to make and submit DLLs. Uhh, I don’t do Windows. Well, not programming at least. Kind of sucks since I don’t have a working Windows machine at my house and the computer labs don’t have Visual C++ installed (the ECE labs don’t count considering they still use Windows NT and have no USB (but that is another rant)).
I think I’ll be having to do furious “Mad Programming” one night this week.
14:332:351 – Programming Methodologies II
I hate this class. I hate this class so much that I forgot the book on the A bus when I was going to work today. Argh. Never really liked the book (but aparantly it’s a good one) and never took the time to read it. The day I decide that I’m actually going study for this damn class, I lose the book. Just my luck, and I have to program some stupid things by Thursday on stuff I have no clue about. Time for Amazon.com and overnight shipping.
Went to that place where sick people go to check out my bloody red eye. It’s normal, the doctor and I both attibute it to all that sickness I had the day before I got it.
Would people stop telling me things I don’t want to hear.
Saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow last night. It was a decent movie if you wanted to see blimps blow up. Acting left something to be desired. Go see it if you want something to do.
You know you have been work at Operations too long when you hear Shangrila and automatically think “Cook Campus Center”.
Is it geek week or something? I’ve seen a 2600, Debian, Firefox and one other geeky shirt in the course of a day. God damn.
