Times with the PocketPC

So I tried using the iPaq I got for Chirstmas. Yep, very different from what I’m used to (Palm OS and Unixy things). It’s taking some getting used to and a headache (making me have to use Windows will do that to me). So far I’ve played with it for about three hours and haven’t gotten anywhere with it (I was trying to get a decent mp3 player and some utilities). Why the hell is the Start Menu and menus switched? And where is the taskbar? *cough*anti-intuitive*cough*

There is a New Years party at Division. Hmmm…

It’s closing time

So Christmas was nothing special. Besides seeing my relatives from Canada, I got a HP iPaq, some other miscellaneous clothing items and a few dollars (which I bought a pocket watch with). I also eBayed a switch with my Christmas bonus (which isn’t a bonus at all but me just working an insane amount of hours over the break which makes everyone and my supervisor call me “nuts”).

Going to the mall later today, I want to buy a CD.

What did everyone else get?

Merry Christmas, 2004

Merry Christmas!

I finally realized that my sleep schedule is screwed up from working at night. Arrgh, it’s three in the morning and feel fully rested. Damnit.

Well, I’d never.

Calling all

Uhh, if you were even vaguely part of FHS Robotics, there is a meeting happening at the Mc Donald’s on Easton this Thursday. We’re asking all to come to show the new guys what Robotics is about.

Augh, two more

So Comp Arch final is done. Linear Algebra is tomorrow and I have yet to study. Great Great. Then World War I is the day after. Even Better. Eeehh gad.

It’s Offical…

I hate everyone and everything. Yup, name something and I hate it.

Well, except for Operations people.

So I finished the two MIPS programs. Really should have taken me an hour each (that is complete with procrastination and such). As usual, they chanage a few of the specs for the progam during lab, so you have to stay there and furiously try to program the corrections *cough*douchebags*cough*. After a few tries, finally got the 100 for both programs (I was expecting nothing less). So the lab is done; the final day of the lecture is tomorrow. The professor isn’t doing much, he is bringing us the CoRE building to show his lab (Virtual Reality) and the Sun Enterprise systems (don’t know if they have anything else) they use to process data. Pretty easy day tomorrow (complete with party in the evening).

Three weeks my ass

So I lied when I said you wouldn’t hear from me for these last three weeks of classes and finals. In fact, I think this is a time where I will need to post so I don’t go insane from all the crap that is going on. It’s going to be rough.

So it’s coming down to the wire. Yesterday was suppose to be my last day of Computer Architecture Lab. Well, I didn’t go since I didn’t have the program working, nor did I go last week since I didn’t have that program working either. Today is the last day they will be accepting any work, so I have to code like a mad man to get this shit down. It’s going to be crazy considering I’ve been working on each of these programs for more than 3 hours each, when the usual takes me an hour max. I have no idea what is going on, MIPS assembly is escaping me right now.
