So Friday was good. Woke up tired and went to class. Went to New York with Jason to go to the Gutair Center on 14th Street. Managed to scare a woman from Lockheed Martin on the Train. Had Korean Food and Korean not-Beer. Sucked since we had to leave early because I had work and had to go home (I forgot my work stuff (damn slash and Enigma card)). Worked alone most of the night.
Today, slept and went to work. Bought an oscilloscope off of eBay. Tektronix 2225– 50 MHz, Dual Channel, doesn’t seem too old, pretty nice. Now I need to clean out my room to put all this junk I’ve been getting.
If anyone has the manual for the Techtronix 2225 Oscilloscope I mentioned earlier, mind emailing me?
Another thing, Rutgers’ primary and secondary links to the Internet is just outside the room I’m in, why am I getting suck shitty speeds from this workstation?
Alright, so this weekend was okay. I guess. Well, the only interesting thing I did was watch Ian Page’s movie at the Student Film Festival thing and listen to a PoS Dell beep the hell out of Hill Center. And don’t forget this morning, having to change my mom’s flat tire (or is it tyre?). Then there was the mad rush to complete my lab report followed by trying to stay awake in class. Ah fuck, two exams this week.

Geeky and Links
Windows for supercomputers likely out by fall (CNET News.com)
This has go to to be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen, considering that their OSes seem to become more bloated as time progesses (seriously now). Scalability is a bitch also. None the less, I want to see this “thing”. Microsoft can prove me wrong.
All I have to say is: Not Responding
So it snowed yesterday afternoon and last night. It was enough to cancel OS Design class (at 16:30) and have Operations strapped for coverage, but not enought to cancel classes for another [whole] day. Hmm, no class and no one showing up for work? That can only mean one thing, time for crazy-ass long shift with no end in sight shift. Well, it turned out that I took two part-shifts (one guys that we were anticipating would call out didn’t) and a crappy night’s sleep at my cubicle (I really didn’t want nor had any way of going home). So the snow didn’t end up being all that everyone was saying it was suppose to be. As Pat put it this morning, it was a “bullshit snow”.
Alright, so spring break is coming up. Besides going to the Apocalyptica concert, I think leaning a language or two might be in order. I’ve been saying ever since I can remeber that I would learn Java (so I can program better than those punk CS majors in it
), and I’ve been volunteered to learn VHDL (even thought they want it this week (‘this week’ meaning Thursday). Oh yeah, Scheme was added today (don’t ask), so starting off where I left off 4 years ago might be in order. Knowing me, none of this will happen (well, except for the concert, since I just spent $10 on a ticket).
What is everyone else doing for Spring Break?
