It’s really depressing.
So I’ve been telling my mother that we have to fill out this FAFSA thing since January and she’s know about it since 2001, being that we fill out one every year since I entered college. She know that we would need all her financal information. So today, we finally filled it out. Not with exact amounts, but with rough estimates since she does not want to take an hour or two to find the correct information. It really requires no real work, just finding information.
I’ve also realized that a lot of parents are like that (heard from friends that their mothers are talking about them behind their backs and various other things). The question is: “Why?”. Am I just getting in touch with the independence of a 20something or am I just realizing how things really are?

I don’t. My mom paid someone else to fill it out.
It’s not that hard to fill out.
Well, that someone else also filled out the PROFILE and helps with other college stuff, so it isn’t just for the FAFSA.
Probably will only be the FAFSA next year, though.
