More than a week ago, I received a Jury Summons from Middlesex County. No good, as I don’t live in Middlesex County. Sent the form back, checking off “No [ ]” by “1. Are you a resident of Middlesex County?” [sic].
Got one today for Somerset County. Still no good, but for a reason I simply can’t check off a box for. The idea that I have to miss class for four days doesn’t seem all that great (the summons is for “4 DAYS/1 TRIAL”).
Update: Somerset County has excused me from service this time.
Just write in big words that you’ll be under so much stress over missing classes that you can’t judge objectively : )
