ARRLWeb: FCC Releases Report and Order in “Morse Code” Proceeding

The FCC has just removed the Element 1 (the 5 wpm Morse code requirement) for a General class license. One less excuse to not upgrade. I guess I’ll be studying up the questions and upgrade in Feburary or March.

Also, they unified the Technician and Technician Plus licenses. Techs have some HF privileges now.
