It’s really depressing.

So I’ve been telling my mother that we have to fill out this FAFSA thing since January and she’s know about it since 2001, being that we fill out one every year since I entered college. She know that we would need all her financal information. So today, we finally filled it out. Not with exact amounts, but with rough estimates since she does not want to take an hour or two to find the correct information. It really requires no real work, just finding information.

I’ve also realized that a lot of parents are like that (heard from friends that their mothers are talking about them behind their backs and various other things). The question is: “Why?”. Am I just getting in touch with the independence of a 20something or am I just realizing how things really are?

When you get time on your hands and don’t want to do work (like when it’s four o’clock in the morning and you are at your job yet don’t have anything that requires thought for said job), you really start to wonder about life. I don’t think I’ve had a particularly sucky one so far, I mean other definatly have had things worse off, but I am really starting to think how bad can it get? I usually go to sleep at night, not particularly happy with the day even if it was the best day of my life. You start to think about that, which gets you even more depressed and you get your mind in that questioning mode: Could things have gone better? And how much better? Or am I enternally damned to feel this sucky for the rest of my life? Hmm…

I think I should read more to pass the time.

Note to self: Buy new watch and trench coat. I think I have to go shopping. I haven’t done that in a long time. Urgh, throw shoes onto the list as well.
